Jeff took Carol to a Jazz Bar in SF for their second date and the owner snapped their first photo together.

Carol’s 21st birthday! Well spent in Napa with a stolen bunch of grapes from a nearby winery.

Their first trip to Japan! This was taken at an okonomiyaki joint by one of Carol’s oldest friends, Kyoko, who also introduced them to fugu.

Carol graduated from Berkeley!

When Carol booked the wrong winery due to an apostrophe error. In 1986, the famous Stag’s Leap winery sued their neighbor, Stags’ Leap, due to its copycat tactics. The California Supreme Court ruled they could both continue existing as long as the apostrophes remained different.

The end of a chapter! With Jeff’s immense help, Carol graduated from law school (and more importantly, hosted a senior recital).

Officially hitched 6 years, 7 months, and 24 days later.
